ABOUT US

Willy Ky is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of Adult eye diseases but also has completed a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.  He graduated from the Sophie Davis School of Medicine 7- year medical program with Magna Cum Laude and sub-matriculated to the Mount Sinai School of Medicine to earn his Doctorate in Medicine.  He then completed his Residency in Adult Ophthalmology at the N.Y.U. School of Medicine, and was selected among his peers to be the “Executive Chief” during his year as chief resident.  In his final year of training, he completed additional subspecialty training in Pediatric Ophthalmology at the Washington University School of Medicine.  After working for over a decade in a group practice, Dr. Ky began New York Eye & Laser in Queens to deliver exceptional Adult and Pediatric Eye Care in Queens.  He is also committed to physician education and served as assistant professor of Ophthalmology at both N.Y.U. School of Medicine and Norwell Medical Center.  

In addition to his medical education, Dr. Willy Ky earned an M.B.A. at N.Y.U. Stern School of Business.  His hobbies include running, skiing, and weight training.  He is a third-generation martial artist, and has black belts in Shorin Ryu Karate, Chung Do Kwon and Ji Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do and a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
